    Ishigaki island is Ishigaki city. One to one. Several islands near Ishigaki exsist.

    Surrounding islands:
    Kohama, Taketomi, Iriomoté, Hatoma, Kuro and Hateruma all belong to Taketomi town. Taketomi Island is small but still has the name of the town, making it great.
    Taketomi town hall is on Ishigaki Island as Ishigaki is the central meeting place. Taketomi town hall workers pay resident tax to Ishigaki city. It is a pity.
